SG-1 arrive in a deserted building on the planet P3R-233. Looking around Teal'c finds some Goa'uld weapon marks and Jack finds a symbol which means Coros'ni (Turn back), Teal'c says the planets surface will be radioactive. Daniel and Sam have meanwhile found a room containing artifacts the planets former inhabitants must have obtained through the gate. Jack calls them all back but Daniel has found a device, it turns on a mirror object in the room. Daniel touches it and energy washes over his body, he now returns to the main chamber but the others have gone. He dials up Earth and returns.
Daniel finds the mirror.
Arriving back at the SGC Daniel is confronted by armed troops who ask for his identification. Hammond arrives but he is only a Colonel and no one knows who Daniel is. Daniel is taken to the infirmary where he is drugged. Katherine Langford comes to see Daniel after he wakes up, she asks him why he came through the stargate. Daniel is baffled by what is going on, especially when Katherine says he has never been to the SGC before.
Katherine goes to see General O'Neill and says he should speak to Daniel as he knows things. Jack speaks to him and Daniel says he can help them, Jack asks him about the Goa'uld. Daniel is still very confused but asks them if they have been to Chulak, they say no and he writes the symbols down for them. Doctor Carter arrives and tells them that they have lost Washington and Philadelphia, Daniel asks what is happening and is shown a map of where has been wiped out, by the Goa'uld.
Daniel is told of the Goa'uld attacks.
Daniel tells Katherine what happened with the mirror on 233, as they talk he sees them sending a nuke to Chulak, Daniel tells Jack it is a stupid idea to send it but he sends it anyway. Daniel asks Sam about the possibilities of the stargate sending him to a different Earth, Sam suggests an alternate reality and they ponder the possibility of the mirror being a gateway between realities.
They get a transmission from Air Force One, it is destroyed by a Goa'uld ship, a ship that is on a direct course to the mountain.
They watch on the monitor as Air Force One is destroyed.
The ship arrives and lands on the mountain. Jack orders gun positions to be set up and secondary elevators blown so the Jaffa can't get down as easily. The Goa'uld connect a stargate to the base so that they can't escape that way, they can only sustain a wormhole for 38 minutes though and the SGC will have to try and dial out in the downtimes.
Daniel listens to some tapes of transmissions this reality received from 233, he says that the message means 'Beware the destroyers' and 'they came from' plus a load of pulses. Daniel works out the pulses are gate co-ordinates and are possibly from where the Goa'uld have launched their attack from. Daniel says he has the 233 stargate on video so they can get the point of origin.
Daniel listens to the transmissions.
The Jaffa start their attack, they are lead by Teal'c.
The Jaffa attack starts.
In the briefing room Daniel has worked out the symbols the attack may have come from, he also shows them the idea and they believe all he has told them. Daniel asks them to try and send him back to 233 so he can save his reality from the Goa'uld. Jack says that he couldn't keep the Jaffa at bay for a further 22 minutes until the next downtime, Daniel tells him to try and speak to Teal'c and get him to switch sides. They agree to the plan and Jack heads off too see Teal'c.
Jack hugs Sam before he leaves.
Hammond has the bases auto destruct sequence set for 2 minutes after the window of opportunity for Daniel to escape and they prepare to defend the gate room.
Jack meanwhile is trying to convince Teal'c to swap sides, he says that he could do this to free his family. Teal'c says that thanks to them sending a bomb to Chulak he now has no family to free, he kills Jack.
Jack tries to convince Teal'c.
Sam is meanwhile caught trying to get the mirror control device, she kills herself and a load of Jaffa with a grenade.
Katherine starts to dial 233. As the gate starts to dial Teal'c blasts his way into the gate room, Daniel runs for the gate but gets hit in the shoulder by a staff blast however it throws him through the gate. The Jaffa try to shut down to self destruct but fail, the base blows up.
Teal'c confronts Daniel.
Daniel is back on 233, he gets to the mirror and touches it, again energy passes over him. SG-1 now find Daniel on the floor injured with a staff injury. They see the gate address Daniel has. Daniel grabs Jack and tells him they are in very big trouble, they are coming .... TO BE CONTINUED ....
