SG-1 arrive on P3X-989. It seems to be on about the same level of technology as Earth but no one seems to be around. As they explore they hear a noise and Jack orders them to pull back, as they move off towards the stargate something scans them and knocks them out.
SG-1 are scanned.
They all wake up in black outfits on some benches. A man enters the room and welcomes them with the local greeting, 'Kumtria'. He tells them that his name is Harlan and he is the last survivor of his race, he then shows SG-1 to their weapons and around the complex. As they walk around they notice that they feel stronger, have a higher intellect etc... Harlan tells them he has made them better but when he refuses to tell them more SG-1 leave.
Harlan tells them he has made them better.
At the SGC Dr Frasier examines Jack. When she tries to listen to his chest she can't find any heart beat, and when she takes a blood sample white liquid comes out. Jack slices open his arm and inside they find it is robotic. Dr Frasier calls security and Hammond arrives, he has them taken to a holding room.
Jack finds he isn't who he thought he was.
In their cell Teal'c starts acting rather strange, when Daniel asks him if he is okay Teal'c says he is. Hammond arrives and tells them he is sending SG-5 to 989, they tell him not to send them and then collapse saying they must go back. Hammond returns them to 989.
The minute they arrive back on 989 they regain their strength, there must be a power source for them somewhere in the complex. Harlan arrives and says he knew they would be back, Jack explodes and attacks Harlan but in the end lets him go. After Harlan has gone they discuss the situation, the complex is falling apart and he needs their help to maintain it, Jack says they should let the place fall down. Jack leaves to find Harlan and Daniel & Sam continue to discuss the situation, Teal'c also leaves rather abruptly. When Teal'c is on his own he has a fit.
Teal'c has a fit.
Jack goes to see Harlan and asks where their bodies are, but as they speak a breach occurs that could compromise their power source, Harlan says this is why he created them, to help him.
Daniel and Sam go to fix one area while Jack goes to fix another. After doing his part Jack is attacked by Teal'c, just as it looks like Teal'c will win he is destroyed by Harlan. Harlan now tells them to return to their rooms and Teal'c will be alright.
Teal'c is destroyed.
Daniel and Sam follow Harlan and find he is making a new synthetic of Teal'c, they want to know how he does this without the original bodies, Harlan admits he has them. He shows them to their real counterparts and says they are still alive and well, this is why he can't transfer them back.
Two lots of SG-1!
The real Jack goes to find his counterpart and talks to him. The robot Jack says they will bury the gate so as not to be a security issue, he tells the real Jack not to try and send a bomb through.
Jack talks to Jack.
The real SG-1 say good bye to all and take their leave.
