A UAV is launched from the SGC with some new technology on it that will allow long range reconnaisonce faster and easier. The UAV signal starts to faulter and Sam takes manual control of it, to no avail as it crashes into a plant. When the signal comes back on they see a humanoid lifeform looking into the camera. SG-1 are authorised to go and retrieve the UAV and make contact with the lifeforms on PJ2-445.
The UAV crashes into a plant.
SG-1 arrive at the location of the UAV crash but it is gone. Daniel meanwhile is sneezing after coming through the gate. Teal'c finds the UAV's tracks and they follow them, finding some dwellings at the other end. They see the humanoid who took the UAV, Daniel says hi to him but he runs off screaming. SG-1 follow him to the village. They are surrounded by the aliens who seem very inquisitive of them. Daniel sneezes again and they all run off and hide.

Daniel goes off to communicate with them and manages to get the UAV back.
The UAV is recovered.
Daniel sneezes again and one of the aliens collapses, the others start to sing and more of them start to collapse, it is turning into an epedemic.
Dr Frasier arrives on the planet to try and help but she can't understand the illness, she decides to take one of the aliens back to Earth and run some more tests. Daniel decides to stay and try futher communication with them while Jack and Teal'c check out the other villages. Sam returns to Earth with Dr Frasier.

Back on PJ2-445 Jack stumbles, he is weak and has a headache. At the village Daniel sees one of the villagers with the plants, they are growing, when he appraoches they shrink back into there seedpods. Jack arrives back and when Daniel tells him what happened he takes a very sarcastic attitude with him. As Jack and Daniel argue the alien collapses.

At the SGC Dr Frasier is having no luck in finding a cure for the disease. Jack and Daniel return as both do not feel well, but the moment they arrive back they start feeling better. The alien flatlines and Dr Frasier doesn't know what to do, but they manage to stabalise him.
On PJ2-445 Teal'c sees the plants grow but when he approaches they retreat into there pods. He digs under the ground and finds some roots, there is grren goo around them and a strong throbbing noise, as he touches the goo he collapses.

While watching the video taken on 445 Daniel starts to feel ill again, but when he leaves it he starts to feel better. Sam works out that perhaps there is something on the video that they can't hear that is causing the illness. Teal'c returns and tells them what happened to him, they work out that when the plane crashed into the plant it changed the sound that is broadcast over the planet, this is what is making the aliens and them ill. They test a recording of the sound before the UAV crashed on the alien at the SGC, he gets better. Returning to 445 Sam sets up a frequency emmiter and they broadcast the sound, it cures the aliens.
