The episode starts with a reprise from Jolinar's Memories.
Apophis tells SG-1 that they are his way out of damnation. Daniel tells him that Amonet is dead and Apophis takes the com device off of him and contacts Teal'c, telling him that he is still alive. Apophis makes Kent'ac his First Prime and orders SG-1 searched but not killed, he will have that pleasure himself. Martouf tells everyone that it is likely Apophis will try to extract information from them to 'sell' to Sokar for his freedom.
Apophis speaks to the denizens of Netu, he tells them that he will rule all the Goa'uld domain once he has killed Sokar.

In Sokar's palace it is reported that the Tel'tak has escaped into Hyperspace. Sokar, thinking it contained spies, orders the fleet to be prepared to begin the attack on the System Lords in two days time.
Back on Netu Apophis is given the Tok'ra mind device, he orders Sam brought before him. Apophis finds the mind device behind Sam's ear and turns it on, he then gives her something called 'the blood of Sokar'. Sam slips into memories of herself and her father discussing her mother's death. Jacob asks Sam for the Earth' iris codes but this is when she realises it isn't real and she refuses to tell Apophis anything. She is sent back to the pit.
Apophis tries to gain information from Sam.
Next Jack is brought before Apophis, he is again given the blood of Sokar and has the mind device put on him. Seeing his son, Charlie, he realises something isn't right, Charlie asks for information on the Asgard and the planet where the ancients information was downloaded into his mind, he doesn't say anything.
Teal'c meanwhile arrives on Vorash and informs the Tok'ra what has happened. The Tok'ra Aldwin arrives on the Tel'tak with a planet busting bomb, the Tok'ra have ordered the destruction of Netu once Sokar's ship has moved into its orbit, Teal'c agrees to go along with the plan but isn't happy it will most likely involve the deaths of SG-1, Martouf and Jacob.
Martouf is now before Apophis, Sam is brought in and Martouf sees her as Jolinar. Apophis threatens to kill her if he is not given the location of the Tok'ra resistance, he tells Apophis it is on the planet Entac. Apophis has them returned to the pit and orders Daniel brought before him.

Sokar orders his ship moved into position around Netu then he may cleanse it in preparation for his attack on the System Lords.
On Netu Martouf tells Sam that he lied about the Tok'ra base, he couldn't let Apophis kill her though. Daniel meanwhile is asked about the Harcesis child and where it is, he as with the others doesn't fall for it. Sokar contacts Netu and Apophis tells him he has taken over, he asks and is granted an audience. Daniel meanwhile manages to get the com device before he is taken back to the pit. Apophis tells Kent'ac that is planning to kill Sokar with a hidden sword, he rings to Sokar's ship.
On the Tel'tak Aldwin launches the weapon into Netu's core. On the planets surface vents start to blow out gases and fire, Sam comes up with an idea to escape, they start to fill one of the vents with rocks.
Apophis kneels before Sokar and asks for his privilege of ruling Netu, Sokar tells him he will grant his wish in exchange for the information he has gathered.

Apophis tells him that the Tok'ra are on Entac. Sokar is angry, he has already conquered Entac, there are no Tok'ra there, he orders Apophis killed, slowly.
Teal'c manages to overpower Aldwin and locks him in the back section of the Tel'tak, he is going to attempt to rescue SG-1 by intercepting the matter stream of the ring transporters. SG-1 have meanwhile escaped the pit and head towards Bynars quarters.
On Sokar's ship, Apophis is being tortured.

As one of his guards rushes in and informs Sokar about the situation on Netu, Apophis sees his chance to escape and takes it, killing both of the guards and attempting to kill Sokar with a staff weapon, but Sokar raises his personal shield. Apophis runs out of the room.

Teal'c meanwhile manages to intercept the matter stream and SG-1, Martouf and Jacob are rescued. Someone manages to ring off Sokar's ship down to the planet of Delmak and shortly after Netu explodes, taking Sokar's ship with it.
Netu goes with a bang.
As everyone on the Tel'tak celebrate, Apophis has made it to Sokar's palace on Delmak, behind him is Sokar's massive fleet ...
