THE PLOT

P4X-884 seems to be an untouched paradise. They decide to go to the planet and conduct a mineral survey. SG-1 step through the Earth gate and immediately arrive back at the SGC, but Hammond tells them that they have been gone over 15hrs, to which SG-1 have no recollection.

Frasier checks them over but finds no problems. Hammond had sent a second MALP to 884 while SG-1 were away but both MALP's were sent back, but SG-1 say they didn't do it. Sam runs back the footage from the second MALP and they see that the first MALP is nowhere to be seen. Sam now plays the footage back frame by frame and they see that for a single frame their is an alien room behind the 'fake' images of the paradise.

Sam shows them the alien room in the transmission.

They are all drinking coffee during the briefing and suddenly all say how much they like it, Teal'c takes the flask and gulps down nearly the whole think, steaming hot! Hammond orders them to stay on base while further investigations take place. Later Jack is in the canteen, he is eating some dessert. All the other members of SG-1 soon arrive, wanting some desserts as well, they are soon tucking into a massive selection of sweet foods, it all tastes so good. An announcement comes over the intercom, SG-1 are called to medlab 3.

SG-1 tuck into the desserts.

Frasier has been looking over their brain scans and has found something funny, in all of them their is a small device in exactly the same place. Hammond has them all put in quarantine.

In quarantine they all start hearing voices, suddenly a man appears, he is called Urgo, it is a visual interface of the things in their minds, a highly advanced wireless computer network. Urgo can apparently not control them, but can influence them and make their senses more acute.

They go to see Frasier and Urgo wants to know what the defibrillator is, it seems he is a tool for learning about other cultures. He tries to get Teal'c to use the defibrillator but Frasier stops him.

Urgo wants to know about stuff.

They ask Urgo if he can be removed and he tells them he can't, he then goes on to tell them that his creators are evil and they don't want to return to 884. Sam says that he may be able to 'turn off' Urgo by using an EMP pulse. Urgo tries to put off Sam all he can't but Sam gets the pulse operational, Urgo disappears.

Urgo tries to plead with Sam and Jack.

Later Sam is talking to Frasier and is invited to come rowing with her and Cassandra. As Sam leaves she starts singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Frasier watches as the other members of SG-1 also start singing the song even though they are in separate rooms. In a briefing Urgo reappears, it seems the system has reset.

They send a MALP to 884 and contact the alien who build Urgo, his name is Togar. He tells them that Urgo is an error and they should return to 884 to have him removed. In the locker room SG-1 discuss with Urgo about going back, he is afraid of dieing when Togar removes him, it seems he has developed sentience. They decide to go and let Togar deal with it.

Arriving on 884 they meet Togar.

SG-1 meet Togar.

Togar shows them how Urgo will be removed, SG-1 will be unharmed. Bringing up the case of Urgo's sentience, they manage to convince Togar and Urgo to co-exist with each other. Transferring Urgo into himself, Togar sends SG-1 back home, where again they have no idea of the last x no. of hours.

Togar and Urgo now co-exist.
