A pod is removed from a vat. A man tells a woman scientist to begin cryo-regeneration. The process is completed and the pod is opened, inside is Jack. He is told by the man, a General Trofsky, that he is in the SGC, 79 years in the future, and that the rest of SG-1, indeed everyone he knew are dead.
Trofsky & Raully revive Jack.
Jack is told that he was sent back through the gate already frozen. Hammond and Frasier decided not to revive him as they weren't sure how, they put him in the deep freeze until the technology was available. The rest of SG-1 was also sent back but they were already dead. Trofsky shows Jack around the base, not much has changed apart from a few bits of advanced technology. Jack is asked if he can remember anything that happened to him as an ally with technology of that level would be very useful in the war against the Goa'uld. Jack says he can't remember and Trofsky takes him back to the female scientist, a Doctor Raully who says that using some memory recall devices that obtained from the Tok'ra they may be able to help him remember. Jack thinks about who could have the technology and remembers the Asgard, Nox and Heliopolis and the great alliance.
Jack remembers the Nox.
As Jack rests another pod is removed from cryo-suspension, inside is Daniel. Another pod is then removed, inside is Sam, Trofsky tells Raully to keep her more sedated as she has Naquada in her blood. Both are told the same story as Jack was.
Another pod is removed from cryo.
Sam is asked how they defeated Apophis and Daniel is asked about other Goa'uld, he lists Sokar, Heru-ur and Hathor as Goa'uld they knew were still out there.
At the real SGC Dr Frasier is tending Teal'c. He awakes and is told the rest of SG-1 have gone missing and he was found badly injured, infact near death, Hammond believes it is only Dr Frasiers care and willingness not to give up that has pulled him through.
Teal'c awakes.
Apparently SG-1 went to a planet supposedly ruled by a Goa'uld and was attacked by a combination of Horus and Serpent Guards. Teal'c requests permission to go back to the planet but Hammond refuses. Teal'c quits the SGC.
Jack meanwhile overhears Trofsky and Raully speaking in Goa'uld. He fakes that he is still unconscious and knocks out the guard.
Back at the SGC Teal'c takes his leave and returns to Chulak.
Teal'c takes his leave.
Jack has taken the uniform of his guard and takes a look around the base. As he explores he finds that he is in the midst of a Goa'uld ship and has a flash back to when they were on Apophis's ship (Within The Serpent's Grasp/The Serpent's Lair). He then returns to the false SGC and finds Sam and Daniel.
Jack finds the Goa'uld part of the base.
They all head to the gate room and speculate who could have seen the SGC in this much detail, the main bets are on Apophis being alive still. Suddenly Hathor appears behind them and a load of guards enter. Hathor asks them questions about the Asgard and the Earth iris but they refuse to answer. Removing a mature Goa'uld from a Jaffa she tells them that one of them will give her the answers when they become a host .....
Hathor asks the questions.
