Col. Makepeace arrives back at the SGC and rushes into Hammonds office. He bursts in on Hammond asking Major Davies for 3 new SG teams. While scouting 254 they came into contact with the Tok'ra who have told them where SG-1 are and that they are being held captive by Hathor.
Hammond and Davies contemplate Makepeace's news.
Hammond, Davies and Makepeace look over the map the Tok'ra gave them. The outside of Hathor's base is apparently unguarded, until they get into the actual base they should face little resistance. Hammond gets authorisation to send in a rescue party from the president, even though Davies is against deploying all remaining earth side SG teams to the rescue. Hammond asks for volunteers and everyone steps forward, they set off on the mission.
Hathor meanwhile decides that Jack shall become the host but he goes to grab the symbiote, Raully zats him but also injures the symbiote, the process will have to be delayed for a time and the symbiote is placed back into the Jaffa.
The symbiote likes Jack.
On Chulak Teal'c enters the house of Brat'ac. He finds him lying on the floor injured, he has been beaten by the last of Apophis's personal guard and shunned by the people . Teal'c tends to him and asks him to find him some armour.
In Hathor's pyramid Jack is implanted with the Goa'uld.

Hathor tells him that once the Goa'uld has taken control he will kill Daniel and Sam, just then they hear gunfire in the corridors, Makepeace and the others have arrived. Hathor tells Raully to watch Jack, but when she has gone Raully turns to Jack and tells him she is a Tok'ra, she tells him that putting him into cryo will kill the symbiote. In the corridors Makepeace and his team push forward and rescue Daniel and Sam, Sam tells him that Jack has been taken as a host.

Hathor catches Raully putting Jack into cryo, Raully tells her that if the Tau'ri don't destroy her they will, Hathor blasts her with the ribbon device.
SG-3 are guarding the gate site when something happens, Makepeace looses all contact with them. He orders the immediate evacuation, Jack will have to be a casualty of war.
On Chulak Teal'c announces that he will speak tomorrow at Brat'ac's house, he tells all the warriors to come, the people of Chulak will taste freedom.
Arriving at the gate site Makepeace finds his men are gone and an energy barrier surrounds the gate, it is an ambush and they soon come under attack from staff towers. As the rush back one of the towers blasts a hole in the ground, underneath are Tok'ra tunnels, they all escape into them. They find that the energy barrier also extends underground.
At the SGC Hammond is getting worried that no one has reported back and he dials up the gate, he sends a message to Makepeace who tells him what is happening, he tells Makepeace that in six hours reinforcements will be sent through, they have that amount of time to bring down the energy field. After being disconnected by Trofsky who zats the MALP, Hammond and Davies argue, the President and Joint Chiefs will not authorise reinforcements and he agrees, if they are to get back it will have to be under there own power.
In the tunnels Sam says that the barrier must be powered by a massive generator inside the base, the tunnels must lead there so she volunteers to go back alone and destroy it. Hathor's guards meanwhile enter the tunnels.
On Chulak Teal'c speaks to the people, he tells them what he has found out about the Goa'uld and asks for there help to rise up against them, most of them leave but a few Jaffa stay, among them is General Hammond, he is here to ask for Teal'c's help.

Sam has found her way into the base and finds Raully, she tells her to activate the cryo unit, Jack's symbiote will be dead. As he starts to revive Hathor arrives and gets Sam in the grips of the ribbon device, Jack, now fully awake, comes up behind her and throws her into the vat of cryo material, killing her. Jack and Sam embrace. The Tok'ra tells them that the power generator is in the stargate room.
On Chulak Brat'ac is leading Hammond and Teal'c through the forest, when he was first prime of Apophis there was an experimental glider built but it was only mastered by a few pilots therefore abandoned and dumped in the forest, they find it and decide to use it.
Jack and Sam find the power generator and plant some explosives around it. In the tunnels the others are captured. Jack and Sam arrive at the gate site and observe from a distance, Trofsky has the prisoners tied up and is threatening to shoot them unless Sam gives herself up. Jack tries to buy some time by posing as the Goa'uld that should control him, it works and Teal'c comes through the gate in the glider just as Sam destroys the generator taking the energy barrier down. Teal'c and Hammond blow up the towers in the glider.
Teal'c and Hammond take out the towers.
Brat'ac with a few of the Jaffa Teal'c persuaded come through the gate and help capture the remainder of Hathor's forces.
