At Area 51 in a room full of items recovered by various SG teams one of them activates, it is the Quantum Mirror found by Daniel (in There But For The Grace Of God). On the otherside of the mirror Major Kawalsky and Sam Carter come through, they are quickly surrounded by troops.
Kawalsky & Carter come through the mirror.
At the SGC Jack comes to the infirmary, Sam is there, or rather the Sam who came through the mirror, the alternate Kawalsky also enters, Jack wonders what is going on. They tell Jack where they are from and that the Goa'uld have just invaded their world.
SG-1 watch a video taken at Nellis of Carter being interviewed, it is a different alternate reality from the one Daniel went too, Kawalsky and Sam are bought in and Kawalsky goes for Teal'c when he sees him but is restrained. They request assylum in this reality and Hammond says he will have to ask his superiors, in the meantime they are given temp. accomodation. Sam walks her alternate to her room and when she leaves her the alternate Sam gets out a picture of her and Jack on their wedding day.
The two Carters talk.
Hammond calls Jack in, he has been informed the alternate Sam and Kawalsky can stay, Jack then goes to tell Sam. In her room they talk about each other and about Sam's Jack. As he leaves Jack bumps into our Sam who has told Kawalsky, she was just on her way to see Sam, Jack tells her to leave it.
As she brushes her hair the alternate Sam's face starts to go all odd.
Sam starts feeling temporal problems.
In the infirmary they work out that as both Sam's are present in the same reality it will cause problems, the alternate Sam will die if she doesn't go back. In a briefing Daniel suggests that they should help free the alternate world from the Goa'uld and that they could contact the Asgard of that reality by visiting the planet Jack went to (The Fifth Race), this all depends of course on getting the generator that Jack used to give the gate more power working again. They then start putting a plan together.
As the two Carters start to work on the generator, Kawalsky teaches Daniel to use the Quantum Mirror. The two Carters then enter with the working generator.

Arriving in the alternate reality they have to hide from a group of Jaffa, Jack & Kawalsky then follow them to the gate room where they witness the arrival of Apophis. They lure the alternate Teal'c away and into the storage room where the mirror is, our Teal'c kills him. Teal'c then leads Carter away as his prisoner while Daniel turns the mirror back on and tries to find our reality, Jack and Kawalsky then head to the generator room.
Teal'c takes Carter to Apophis who is torturing the alternate Hammond for information on the Beta Site
The alternate Hammond is tortured.
Apophis leaves Teal'c to get the info from them but he sets the alternate Hammond free, they put their part of the plan into operation. Jack and Kawalsky get the generator up and running and the gate is dialed up, Sam manages to get through it with Teal'c's help, but it means Teal'c is captured. As Jack and Kawalsky get back to the mirror room they find Daniel captured and themselves surrounded.
They are all brought before Apophis who asks them who they are, when he doesn't believe them he kills Hammond, Daniel is then zatted but before he can be killed something very fast enters the solar system, Apophis goes to kill them all but he is beamed out by the Asgard. The Asgard then take Hammond and return Carter and Hammond who is now alive.
Apophis is beamed out.
As they all go to leave this reality Sam kisses Jack, our Sam is watching through the mirror and seems uncomfortable with it.
Sam watches as Jack and the alternate Sam kiss.
