Hammond calls an urgent meeting for SG-1, he plays them a message of a lone call the base received, someone knows about the stargate and wants to see O'Neill alone in a cafe the next morning.

The next day Jack waits at a table in the cafe, he is soon approached by a man who apologises for being late, he thought he was being followed. He introduces himself as Martin and checks Jack for transmitters.

Over at the service area Teal'c is disguised as a chef, he turns the order carousel around to point at Martin and Jack, there is a camera inside. Outside in a van Daniel and Sam start checking for Martin's ID. Back inside Martin tells Jack he is an alien and must go threw the gate. Outside Sam and Daniel have found the info on Martin, they search for his address. Back inside Martin tells Jack he can show him his ship, Jack is about to leave at this point but gets a note saying to stall Martin so he decides to go with him.

In the woods Martin looks for his ship. Daniel, Sam and Teal'c meanwhile pay a visit to Martin's house where they find a lot of medicine, they are also being observed by 3 men via a videolink, on running a thermal scan on the image they detect Teal'c's symbiote. Back in the woods Martin can't find his ship so Jack takes him back.

At the SGC Dr Frasier reports to Hammond, they have tested the drugs that Martin had and found them to be tampered with, Hammond sends Daniel and Sam to see the Psychiatrist who subscribed the drugs to Martin. They psychiatrist tells them that he can't believe that Martin is a threat to national security but gives them his work address when pushed.

At a motel Jack and Teal'c are relaxing when Martin arrives and tells them someone has been in his house. He tells Jack he doesn't know why he has to go threw the gate, just that it is important. Martin goes to take some of his medication but Jack stops him and takes it away. Martin then shows Jack a piece of paper with seven symbols on it that he has seen in 'visions', they are seven stargate symbols.

Daniel and Sam arrive at Martin's workplace but it is deserted. As they look around the 3 guys who earlier had watched them at Martin's place arrive with guns and take them hostage. At the motel Jack leaves Martin with Teal'c as he goes to search for Daniel and Sam as Sam isn't answering her phone. His first place of call is the psychiatrists but it is deserted. At the warehouse Daniel and Sam are tied up and the men start asking them questions about Martin. Jack goes back to the motel where he finds that Teal'c has put Martin in the bathroom as he had started panicking over his medicine, Martin collapses and as he awakens he says he remembers where his ship is.

Arriving back in the woods Martin finds the ship. A team arrives to look at the ship, it is definitely extra terrestrial in design and materials and would hold about 5 people, therefore there are more aliens on Earth, probably the people who have Daniel and Sam.

At the warehouse the people interrogating Daniel and Sam just suddenly pack up and leave. Martin is meanwhile telling Jack and Teal'c about the people who attacked his world, it was the Goa'uld. The team is ready to open the hatch, but Martin tells them to wait, the hatch has sensors on it, the others would know it had been opened and come, so they decide to set a trap.

Not long later the people interrogating Daniel and Sam and the Psychiatrist arrive and take Martin, Jack and Teal'c track them to the warehouse. Jack frees Daniel and Sam while Teal'c rescues Martin, the others though have just vanished.

Martin shows them a small computer device he took from one of the men, it is counting down so they leg it out of the warehouse but nothing happens. In the fields where the ship is it explodes.

At the SGC Martin is taken threw the gate to the co-ordinates he had, unfortunately everything is destroyed and they return to Earth.

Martin's world has been destroyed by the Goa'uld.
