A Ha'tack class ship enters orbit around the planet Vorash and SG-1 along with Jacob Carter ring down to the surface. They are met by a surprised Tanith and another Tok'ra representative.
Tanith is surprised to see SG-1.
Jacob tells SG-1 that thanks to the Ha'tack ship they are lending the Tok'ra they will be able to move there people and stargate to a world previously without one so they will be safe from the Goa'uld. Tanith has not been told any of this and will be left behind when they leave, he is now to big a threat to them, his usefulness is at an end. Teal'c and Selmak tell Tanith that they know he is a spy for Apophis and that he has been used, Tanith tells them that they will be hunted down to the ends of the galaxy by the System Lords.
Teal'c goes to see Tanith, he tells him that he will be removed from the host Hebron and left to die. Tanith goads Teal'c about Shon'ac but he doesn't take the bait and remains calm, instead telling Tanith that he has infact been a great help as the Tok'ra have freed many people and saved many lives by using him to spread information to Apophis, infact without him it is likely Apophis would have defeated the Tok'ra by now.
Teal'c goes to see Tanith.
On the Ha'tack Jacob and Jack talk about the ship, Jacob tells him that it would be best to leave the ship with the Tok'ra but Jack tells him that there are lots of scientists ready to look over it, Jacob thinks that it is a stupid idea, look what happened when they tried retrofitting a Death Glider (see Tangent). Jack and Jacob then argue about both sides plans to defeat the Goa'uld, it seems SG-1 knocking off Goa'uld here, there and everywhere is causing problems for the Tok'ra.
In his cell Tanith plays dead and gets the Tok'ra guards inside, he kills them and escapes onto the planet's surface where he recovers a hidden Goa'uld com. device. Jack and Teal'c go looking for Tanith, they know he must be on the surface somewhere.
Back inside the base the Tok'ra have recieved word that Apophis has been given there location and is assembling a war fleet, he will be here within a day. They decide to evacuate the Tok'ra through the gate while Sam has come up with an idea. The systems sun can be exploded by dialing up the gate to P3W-451 (the planet destroyed by the black hole in A Matter Of Time) The gate will suck in some of the matter from the sun thus destroying it and everything in the system, ie. Apophis's fleet.
Sam tells everyone her plan.
Daniel goes to see Teal'c, they talk about Tanith and Teal'c's failing to kill him when he had the chance. Teal'c asks Daniel if he would want to kill Apophis personally in revenge for Sha're, Daniel says he doesn't really know. Teal'c tells him that he will not have this much restraint next time.
Daniel and Teal'c talk.
SG-1 and Jacob are now on the Ha'tack to put the plan into operation. Arriving in position they dial up P3W-451, encase the gate in a forcefield and jettison it. As they go to leave they are attacked by a Goa'uld Al'kesh (mid range bomber), it disables them but also suffers damage itself. Jack suggests that they use the gliders they have to defend themselves while Jacob and Sam fix the ship. Teal'c and Jack arrive at the position of the Al'kesh but it moves away and heads towards Vorash, it must be going to pick up Tanith, Teal'c goes after it. As the Al'kesh approaches Vorash Teal'c attacks it and they destroy it but end up crashing themselves.
Teal'c attacks the Al'kesh.
Jacob and Sam manage to restore main power but the hyperdrive circuits are fried, they will need to be replaced. Daniel calls them and tells them Jack's mayday message, Sam convinces Jacob to go back for them, but at that moment Apophis's fleet arrives.
Apophis arrives.
On Vorash two jaffa ring down to meet Tanith, they convay a message of thanks from Apophis but Tanith asks for there help. As Jack and Teal'c walk along Teal'c is shot by a staff and Jack is zatted but be manages to fend off the two Jaffa, as he lies on the floor he sees Tanith ring up to Apophis's ship with Teal'c.
Tanith takes Teal'c.
On Apophis's ship Tanith presents Teal'c to him, he is pleased.
Having fixed the hyperdrive Sam heads back to the pel'tac. Jacob meanwhile launches the rest of the gliders and heads they out of the system, Apophis takes the bait and goes after them. Jacob moves the Ha'tack towards Vorash and they collect Jack.
The sun explodes and SG-1's Ha'tack manages to make it into hyperspace, but something is wrong and they are suddenly flung out. Jacob is confused the ships computers don't recognise any of the stars in the system. They speculate that the explosion interfered with the hyperdrive, they are 4 million miles and 125 years from home in another galaxy. Just then they pick up another ship on sensors, Apophis's giant battleship enters the system .....
Apophis's ship looms over the Ha'tack.
